During your comprehensive medical examination, your doctor will fine tune your glasses and
contact lenses to give you the clearest and most comfortable vision possible. Additionally, close
evaluation of your eye health allows us to diagnose and treat diseases as well as monitor
systemic conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure.

Our office is conveniently situated in downtown Boston directly off of School Street and within a
very short walking distance from Omni Parker Hotel and Old City Hall. We recommend arriving
by MBTA (under a 4 minute walk from all lines) or parking at the Haymarket Garage (a 10
minute walk from the office).

Dr. Rosanna Lamalva
Dr. Rosanna Lamalva completed her undergraduate studies at Boston College. She earned her Doctor of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in 1999.
Dr. Lamalva has worked as a Pediatric Optometrist at Lexington Eye Associates prior to opening her own practice in 2001.
She is board certified to diagnose, manage and treat various conditions and diseases of the eye, including glaucoma. She is also certified in Laser refractive surgery co-management.
Dr. Lamalva is an established and highly skilled doctor with over 25 years of experience in eye care. A proud “Bostonian” (but Italian at heart), she completed her undergraduate studies at Boston College and earned her Doctor of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry. She began her career working as a Pediatric Optometrist at Lexington Eye Associates.
Opening her own medical practice in the center of downtown Boston, Dr. Lamalva brings extensive experience and board certifications in diagnosing, managing and treating various conditions and diseases of the eye. She is certified in Laser Refractive Surgery and specializes in primary eye care, headaches, and systemic diseases. Her medical office offers a variety of optometry services, including medically necessary contact lens fitting for keratoconus (sclerals) and other corneal diseases. She has recently become a Nuance Specialist to provide another service to her patients. She has a passion to provide the best overall eye care to patients of all ages.
Dr. Alyson Kelleher
Dr. Alyson Kelleher studied at University of New Hampshire for her undergraduate degree in biomedical science with a minor in nutrition. Nutrition has always been a strong interest of hers and allows her to help counsel her patients.
Dr. Kelleher then studied at New England College of Optometry where she completed her doctorate degree in Optometry. She received numerous clinical honors designations while rotating through ten sites across the country in veteran’s hospitals, community health centers and private practices. She was also a part of the ocular disease club through her time at school. Since graduating in 2024, Dr. Kelleher has begun her career working alongside Dr. LaMalva where she sees patients of ages 5 and up for medical eye care services.
She became appreciative of the eye care profession when two of her family members struggled with severe eye disease. She truly saw the importance of vision through her family members’ experience. She is inspired to spend her career preserving and providing quality vision to her patients. She enjoys understanding her patient’s lifestyle and needs in order to give the most functional vision.
Dr. Kelleher enjoys exercising, traveling, and a good book.
